Times have been rough for Tesla short-sellers, which makes today’s story particularly sad. Many had been hoping that Vernon Unsworth’s defamation lawsuit against Elon Musk would provide a much needed moment of victory to boost morale and hopefully help make back at least some of the billions of dollars they lost shorting Tesla stock. That didn’t happen.
Even $TSLAQ was forced to admit: Vernon Unsworth’s lawyer was terrible. By all accounts, he seemed nervous, awkward, and just generally ridiculous for litigating an internet comment in court.
TeslaCharts, who took advantage of his unemployment to fly to Los Angeles and watch the proceedings, quipped that he might become a lawyer given how badly Lin Wood performed. What he should have realized –– finally facing the outcome of his deluded obsession –– is that his own judgement is extremely poor.

Sorry shawties. Better luck next time.
Imagine hanging your financial hopes for redemption on a frivolous defamation trial over a Twitter beef which is completely unrelated to the fundamentals of a company you short sell. Pathetic.
Yup, stupidity doesn’t pay!
Someone should’ve set Tesla charts up and had him arrested lol
