The FSD price will continue to rise as the software gets closer to full self-driving capability with regulatory approval. It that point, the value of FSD is probably somewhere in excess of $100,000.— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) May 18, 2020
Well, looks like I’ll be ordering my Model 3 Performance on June 30.
If I had to guess, this probably means the Autopilot rewrite with turns on city streets is scheduled to ship at least in Early Access before then.
Hopefully Tesla will delay the price increase for regions that don’t have access to the new features yet, like they have in the past.
