The original commercial for PlainSite has surfaced on YouTube, revealing that the original focus of the non-profit run website was lobbying. 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations are forbidden from lobbying more than an insubstantial amount. Launching a website dedicated to lobbying would appear to be a clear violation of the IRS guidelines for non-profit charities.
