Tesla Surpasses Daimler to Become Third Most Valuable Automaker on Earth

Daimler Market Cap –– 63.007B
Tesla Market Cap –– 63.073

Following the announcement of Tesla’s Gigafactory Berlin, Tesla became the third most valuable auto manufacturer in the world. It surpassed Daimler in early trading on German exchanges narrowly –– Tesla is now worth $63 billion and 73 million, while Daimler is worth a measly $63 billion and 7 million.

They could trade places again several times as each company’s stock fluctuates, but it seems likely that Tesla will permanently overthrow Daimler and then continue working its way up the list.

Most Valuable Automakers on 🌎

  1. Toyota, the Japanese giant, is the most valuable at $205B 🇯🇵
  2. Volkswagen, the German giant, is valued at $100B 🇩🇪
  3. Tesla, the American upstart, is valued at $63B 🇺🇸

Damn shawty. We will update you as this list continues to update.
